The Wool Pot
Brand Identity · Packaging · Copywriting
By Seachange Studio
The Wool Pot is the world’s first biodegradable plant pot made from 100% recycled wool. It solves the gardening industry’s “dirty little secret” billions of plastic plant pots ending up in landfill, taking 450 years to decompose. The Wool Pot naturally breaks down within weeks, adding nutrients back to the soil while protecting roots.
Seachange Studio created a sustainable brand identity that is simple yet iconic. The logo reads as both a sheep’s face and a plant pot, with playful wool shapes framing imagery and key messages. The eco-friendly packaging design reflects the product’s circular story, more plants, less plastic.
This project shows how branding for sustainability can make an eco-conscious product not only responsible, but also desirable.
